Fills & Maintenance

Keeping a set full.

A fill isn’t automatic — it depends on how much is left from your last appointment. Here’s roughly what to expect.

  • Typical timing

Most clients fill every 2–3 weeks, depending on the set and natural shed cycle.

  • Retention varies

Sleep habits, skincare, and your natural lash cycle all affect how long a set holds.

  • When you'll need a full set

If more than about 40% has shed, or it's been 4+ weeks, a full set fits better than a fill.

What to Expect

Your appointment, start to finish.

  1. Consultation

A quick conversation about your eye shape, natural lashes, and desired look.

  2. Mapping

Lashes are charted to your shape before anything is applied.

  3. Application

Isolated, extension by extension, at a pace that protects retention.

  4. Final check / aftercare

A last look at symmetry, plus everything you need to make it last.

Prep & Aftercare

Before and after your appointment.

  • Arrive with clean lashes

No mascara or residual eye makeup on the lash line.

  • Skip eye makeup that day

Oil-based products break down bonding before you even sit down.

  • Aftercare basics

Keep lashes dry for the first few hours, then cleanse them daily.

  • Protect retention

Avoid oil-based skincare and rubbing your eyes between fills.

Questions

Questions, answered.

How long does an appointment take?

Most first sets run 1.5–2.5 hours depending on the style. Fills are typically an hour. You'll get an exact window when you book.

How long do lash extensions last?

Individual lashes shed on their natural cycle, so full sets generally hold for 2–3 weeks before needing a fill.

When should I book a fill?

Every 2–3 weeks keeps a set looking full and intentional. Waiting longer usually means a new full set instead of a fill.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Arrive with clean lashes — no mascara, oil-based makeup, or skincare near the eyes. Contacts out is easiest if you wear them.
